RN - Tele

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 3rd floor of the Main Entrance building
* Intermediate Care unit with 37 beds
* Night shift staffing includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs
* Patient ratios of 1:6, with 1:4 ratio for Heart Cath patients (estimated, never guaranteed)
* Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* NIH certification preferred
* Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills

This medical center operates a dedicated Intermediate Care telemetry unit with 37 beds, providing specialized cardiac and critical care services. The facility supports a well-staffed unit with experienced nurses, patient care technicians, and unit clerks across both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with modern technology and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care for telemetry and cardiac patients.
