Opportunity:

RN - Radiology

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times (7:00 AM or 8:00 AM)
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* Provide nursing care for patients undergoing imaging services including CT/MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology procedures
* Patient care responsibilities include IV support, procedure preparation, moderate sedation and monitoring, recovery, and post-procedure instructions
* Serve patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* All patient diagnoses covered
* Must be able to wear lead apron as needed
* Must be able to go into MRI environment as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Radiology experience required
* Adult Acute Care experience required
* Experience in Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Procedural Sedation, and Pacemaker Interrogation required
* Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural area preferred
* Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* PALS preferred
* Charting system: Epic
* Key skills include: Administering Conscious Sedation, Bar Code Medication Administration, CT, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Medication Management, Monitoring Conscious Sedation, Pre/Post Procedure, Rapid Response Team, Reversal Agents, and Starting and Maintaining IVs
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
