Opportunity:

Medical Assistant / Outpatient Clinic

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with block scheduling available
* No on-call requirement
* No weekend requirement
* Clinic averages approximately 25 patient visits per day
* Work in a 14-room outpatient clinic setting
* Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required
* BLS certification required; CMA or RMA preferred
* Cerner charting system experience required
* Any scrub color accepted
* Adult and pediatric outpatient clinic and private physician office experience preferred
* Internal Medicine and Pediatrics experience preferred
* Required skills include obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, hearing and vision screenings, and 12-lead EKG/ECGs
* Must be comfortable reviewing patient history, medications, and allergies, and administering immunizations and intradermal and intramuscular injections
* Point-of-care testing experience required, including blood glucose, pregnancy, strep, and urinalysis
* Experience required with pharmacy/refill requests, scheduling appointments, stocking supplies, telephone triage, follow-up calls, reviewing lab results, rooming patients, ear lavage, and suture removal

Facility:

This outpatient clinic provides comprehensive medical care across a wide range of patient age groups, from infants to geriatrics. The 14-room facility sees approximately 25 patients per day and supports a variety of specialties including Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. The clinic is equipped with modern technology and utilizes an electronic charting system to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
