Opportunity:

RN - OR (Cardiovascular/Thoracic)

Job Details:

* Weekend coverage required Friday through Sunday
* Call requirements will be discussed during interview
* Floating within facility and scope of practice, including to Main OR as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Cardiovascular/thoracic, transplant, and robotics (thoracic) experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall during assignment, the traveler is expected to work two
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
* Key skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Lung resection/Thoracotomy, Mitral valve replacement, TEVAR, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and airway management among others
