RN - L&D/PP/MB (LDRP)

Job Details:

* Day shifts from 6:50 AM to 7:20 PM and night shifts from 6:50 PM to 7:20 AM, with weekend availability as needed
* First to float when needed
* No on-call requirements
* 2 years of experience required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE Certification
* Circulate in the OR for C-sections across 3 OR suites
* Work within a 16-bed L&D unit with 8 triage beds, 13 antepartum beds, and 32 postpartum beds on a separate Mother Baby Care Unit
* Care for common diagnoses including preeclampsia, previa, twins, and diabetic patients
* Titrate Pitocin and insulin drips; Pitocin commonly used at 1-20 ml/units, may go up to 40 ml/units
* Perform NRP initial resuscitation until NICU team arrives
* Follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios
* Charge nurse available each shift and does not take patients unless absolutely necessary
* Certified Surgical Technicians (CSTs) available every shift
* OB Laborist and Neonatologists available in-house 24/7
* Dedicated CRNA available in-house 24/7
* Telemetry cardiac strips read by Tele Techs when applicable
* Charting system: EPIC
* EFM system: Centricity Perinatal (GE)
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Orientation includes 1 shift each in L&D, Antepartum, and L&D OR
* Floating may be required to nearby hospitals and antepartum unit, all sites within 20 minutes

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit delivering over 4,000 births annually, averaging 320 to 400 deliveries per month. The unit is equipped with advanced perinatal monitoring technology and supported by around-the-clock specialist coverage including OB Laborists, Neonatologists, and dedicated anesthesia staff. The facility maintains a high-risk antepartum unit and is part of a network of nearby hospital locations, all within 20 minutes of one another.
