RN - LDRP
Job Details:
* Deliver safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
* Provide direct patient care across the lifespan while promoting optimal health outcomes
* Provide clear, culturally sensitive education to patients and families, supporting health literacy and successful transitions of care
* Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
* Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team
* Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development
* Float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation and training
* Skilled in all aspects of perinatal care, labor support, delivery, and newborn assessment
* Knowledge of sterile technique and sterile field maintenance
* Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi-State Compact (eNLC) license required
* Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
* OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE certification required within 12 months
* SAFER NM Technician certification preferred
* Ability to deliver compassionate, culturally competent care to patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric)
* Must be physically able to lift, position, and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
* Ability to work effectively under stress, respond calmly to emergencies, and maintain strong problem-solving and coping skills
