Job Details:

* Schedule: Friday through Monday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Must be available to work major holidays
* Block scheduling type
* On-call is required
* Weekend coverage required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Special equipment experience required: Steris Washers, ultrasonic and autoclaves, ASP low temp NX100's, and SPM instrument tracking software
* Experience working with Evotech (ASP) systems required
* Required skills include: Acute Hospital OR, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart management, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/tray assembly, equipment documentation, and sterilization testing and monitoring
* Specialty area experience required: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Must be available for biological and chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Local candidates not accepted; 75-mile rule applies
* Pre-approved time off limited to one request; RTO restrictions of 7 days apply
