Job Details:

* Night shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Every other weekend coverage required
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 8 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Must be proficient in acute inpatient rehab skills including but not limited to: stroke scale assessment, spinal cord injury care, traumatic brain injury management, tracheostomy care, wound care, IV starts and maintenance, blood glucose monitoring, foley catheter removal, PEG tube feeding and management, and mobilization techniques
* Adults patient population
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams and phlebotomy
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit providing specialized care for adult patients recovering from complex medical conditions including strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical recovery. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams and phlebotomy services, and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
