Opportunity:

Director of Women's Care

Job Details:

* Primary schedule is Monday through Friday with possible evening and weekend calls due to the department operating 24/7
* Acute care setting
* Charting system: EPIC
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* RN license required
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Minimum 5 years of RN experience required with 2 years of management or leadership experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS, TNCC
* Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing overall operations of Nursing and Patient Care Areas
* Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups ranging from infant to geriatric
* Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities
* Assures competency of nursing personnel
* Assists in formulating the budget and maintains efficient and effective departmental operations
* Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, laws, standards, and protocols
* Must reside outside of a 100-mile radius
* Copy of unexpired driver's license required at time of submission
* Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission

This acute care facility operates a dedicated Women's Care department that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing comprehensive care across all patient age groups from infant to geriatric.
