Open Position: RN - Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2414.20

Opportunity:

RN - Med-Tele Acute/Obs and Swingbed

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with both day (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) options available
* Day shift schedule with every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* First to float to Med/Tele Acute/Obs/Swingbed units
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-6 on a 19-bed unit
* Care for patients with common diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, GI bleed, and rehabilitation needs
* Must be proficient in IV starts, telemetry, NG tube, and foley insertion
* Required to set up and demonstrate competency with BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
* Required to read own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
* RNs may be part of the code team
* One CNA per shift available to assist with personal cares, vitals, and weights
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Orientation consists of typically 3 to 4 twelve-hour shifts
* Minimum 1 year of experience in medical/telemetry required
* Previous travel experience not required
* No titratable drip management required
* No on-call or standby requirements
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Own scrubs required in any color
* BSN not required
* Valid state license required for submission
* RTO must be submitted upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional RTO will not be approved
