Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with 7:00 PM start time, 3 shifts per week (3x12s)
* Shift options available: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend requirement
* Rotating holiday requirement
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
* 25 beds plus halls in the Emergency Department
* Serve patients of all ages in an acute care setting
* NYS Designated Stroke Center
* Telemetry skills required including ability to read strips
* Experience with drips and ventilators required
* Charge nurse support available (not assigned to travelers)
* Nurse aide support available
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* No floating requirement
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Charting performed in EPIC EMR system
* Any scrub color acceptable
* Active New York State nursing license in good standing required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* All requested time off must be included with submission and profile - no exceptions

This acute care facility operates a 25-bed Emergency Department serving patients of all ages and holds a New York State Designated Stroke Center designation. The department is supported by a robust team including charge nurses, nurse aides, hospitalists, and respiratory therapy available around the clock. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains a well-structured environment to support high-quality emergency care.
