Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Specialist - EP Lab

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Float to other campus locations required as needed
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
* Required experience: arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage procedures, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies
* Preferred experience: cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies
* Perform and support diagnostic, interventional, and acute EP lab procedures while maintaining strict asepsis and ensuring patient safety
* Prepare specialty EP equipment for accurate and reliable diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Complete control room duties utilizing physiologic monitoring, EP-specific monitoring and mapping systems, angiographic/fluoroscopic imaging, and digital analysis
* Provide care in the circulating role during elective and emergency procedures
* Support EP-specific functions including digital archiving of studies and supply distribution
* Cross-train in multiple departments and assist in invasive lab functions as needed
* Work with adults in a 9-room lab with 2 active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA procedures
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes

Facility:

This facility operates a high-level, 9-room electrophysiology lab environment featuring 2 very active EP labs that perform ablations, implants, and left atrial appendage procedures. The team works in a multidisciplinary setting with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The facility is committed to delivering excellent, culturally competent, and patient-centered care across all operational areas.
