Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every other weekend
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* 36 hours of orientation provided
* Level IV NICU experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Ventilator and trach experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Ohio single state or compact license required
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS
* Care for neonates and infants with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
* Patient diagnoses include Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, and additional complex neonatal conditions
* Special equipment includes Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Ram Can, Bubble CPAP, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, Trachs, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Oscillators, and Bili Lights and Blankets
* Float to like assignments throughout the hospital may be required
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy

Facility:

This facility is home to a Level IV NICU featuring 90 beds and a daily census of approximately 81 patients, making it one of the highest acuity neonatal units in the region. The unit specializes in caring for critically ill neonates with complex surgical, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological conditions, and includes a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services to ensure the highest level of patient care for its neonatal population.
