Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Daily caseload of 15-20 mammograms
* No weekend requirement (volunteer only if events are scheduled)
* No on-call required
* Technologist will remain within the Breast Center and will not float
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M)
* South Carolina state license must be in hand prior to start
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Experience in screening and diagnostic mammograms required
* Stereo biopsy, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound biopsies are a plus but not required
* Preferred equipment experience: Hologic, Siemens
* Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking is provided at no cost
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a Level III Trauma, Acute Care Hospital with 286 staffed beds, offering comprehensive medical services to the community. The Breast Center operates as a dedicated unit providing specialized mammography and diagnostic imaging services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a well-equipped environment to support a wide range of breast imaging procedures.
