Job Details:

* Start times will vary between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM as needed
* No on-call requirements
* Rotating weekend schedule; weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Block scheduling type; open to block schedule per manager discretion
* Every Sunday night weekend shift per contract
* Facility may call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit, CA State License, ARRT (R), CRT
* Epic charting system experience required
* Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* May be required to float to a sister facility nearby
* Key skills required include multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, and experience with Siemens equipment
* Additional skill areas include abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, emergency department, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal

This is an acute care hospital with 488 staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical services to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and operates as a Trauma Level II center.
