Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotating shift schedule with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
* 8-hour shift times: 6:30 AM?2:30 PM and 2:30 PM?10:30 PM
* 12-hour shift times: 6:30 AM?6:30 PM and 10:30 AM?10:30 PM
* Option for Day/Evening rotating 5x8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM?2:30 PM and 2:30 PM?10:30 PM
* Shift rotation is required
* Call requirements: 2?4 weeknight call shifts and 1?2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule
* No call shift is ever longer than 12 hours
* Weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only, or Saturday and Sunday during the day only
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Must be able to cardiac scrub
* Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Required equipment experience: Censitrac SPD Instrument Tracking system
* Must have Michigan license in-hand at time of submission (compact license not accepted)
* 2 manager or supervisor references required prior to start
* 40 hours of orientation required
* Procedures include cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases including but not limited to:
- Cardiac: CABG, LVAD/RVAD, Heart Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, MVR, AVR, ECMO, MAZE, Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices
- Thoracic: Lung Transplant, VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair
- Vascular: AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, Vein stripping/ablation

This facility operates a 10-room CVOR unit that specializes in complex and high-acuity adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases.
