Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Weekend availability required
* On-call required with 14-15 days of call in a 6-week period
* Weekday call hours: 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call hours: 5:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday on a rotating basis per call team
* Must live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital while on call
* No on-site call accommodations available
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Strong Cath Lab Tech and IR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS with IR Tech experience, ARRT R
* Must be proficient with Philips and Siemens Fluoroscopy suites, Philips ISVC PACS, Philips Xper hemodynamics, and Maquet IABP equipment
* Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, STEMI response, vascular procedures such as port placement and thrombectomy, peripheral vascular, cardiac rhythm procedures including temporary and permanent device implantation, cardioversion, TEE and EP studies, and pain management procedures including RF ablation and steroid injections
* Work in a procedural area with 4 procedure rooms averaging approximately 280 cases per month
* Daytime patient ratio: 2-3 teams of four; on-call ratio: team of 4
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Preferred skills include pacemaker experience, obtaining vitals, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
* Floating within the facility or to sister facilities is not required
* Maximum of 1 request for time off; must be presented at time of submission and approved prior to assignment
* Expect to work some holidays and weekends

This facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with four fully equipped procedure rooms supporting a high-volume procedural environment. The unit provides advanced cardiovascular and vascular care including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, device implantation, peripheral vascular angiography, and pain management procedures. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both staff and patients.
