Job Details:
* Primary shift hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, worked 90% of the time; additional shifts include 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM and 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM as needed
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Up to 2 weekends of on-call per month and up to 2 weekdays of on-call per week; holiday call required as needed
* Restricted time off of no more than 5 days per contract
* 1 year of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required cardiac surgery case experience includes: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience includes: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Required CVOR case experience includes: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO
* Preferred case experience includes: general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant
* Work in a 6-room OR suite consisting of 4 ORs, 1 hybrid room, and 1 PV room
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 8 to 10 cases
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Will not be required to float within scope or to sister facilities
* Block scheduling is not available
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA or NCCT
* Community hospital experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred

The facility operates 672 staffed beds and maintains a comprehensive cardiovascular and vascular surgery program supported by a fully equipped OR suite that includes hybrid and peripheral vascular rooms.
