Job Details:
* 3x12 day shifts with block scheduling
* 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred and required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 14 with 16 beds and 12 rooms
* Float required based on schedule
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*, PALS*
* Special equipment: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVVHD/CRRT, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, infection prevention, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), surgical intensive care unit, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This facility operates a Medical-Surgical ICU with a capacity of 16 beds across 12 rooms, maintaining a consistent 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio across all shifts.
