Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekends off
* No on-call requirements
* In-person position at clinic - no floating between units
* Open to both local and non-local candidates
* Temp-to-hire opportunity with intent for permanent offer at end of contract
* Minimum 1 year of experience working as an MA in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Procedure scheduling experience preferred; if not applicable, outpatient cardiology experience is required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
* Washington State MA-C License required
* Required skills include vital signs (hearing screening, height/weight, 12-lead EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry), patient history/medication/allergy documentation, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, telephone triage, and lab test review
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Scrub color/attire to be determined

Facility:

This facility is a Heart & Vascular Clinic providing specialized cardiovascular care to adult and geriatric patients. The clinic offers a focused outpatient environment where medical assistants play a key role in supporting clinical operations, procedure scheduling, and patient care coordination. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, providing a structured and supportive work environment.
