Job Details:
* Shifts available from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM or 10:45 AM to 10:45 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required up to 2 weekends per month, up to 2 weekdays per week, and holiday call if needed
* Up to 2 weekends of call required per month
* Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Restricted time off of no more than 5 days per contract
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Charting experience with Excellian/Epic required
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 8 to 10 patients across 6 operating rooms (4 standard ORs, 1 Hybrid, 1 PV)
* Required cardiac surgery case experience includes: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience includes: endovascular and open vascular procedures, AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Required CVOR case experience includes: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO
* Preferred case experience includes: general, endoscopic/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant
* Will not be required to float within scope or to sister facilities
* Block scheduling is not available

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with a Level III Trauma designation. With 672 staffed beds, this facility is a large and well-equipped healthcare organization capable of handling a wide range of complex medical cases. The facility supports a robust cardiovascular and vascular surgical program with six dedicated operating rooms, including a hybrid OR and a peripheral vascular suite.
