Job Details:

* Day shift position in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
* Four rooms run daily with operations extending until 5:00 PM
* Call is required and averages approximately 10 days per month, including weekends
* 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week of call coverage required
* Daily case volume of approximately 6 cases
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 1 year of experience required
* Scrub experience required
* Required certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT (must be in hand at time of submission)
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Procedures include open hearts, vascular, robotic, and all cardiac procedures except transplants
* Specific procedures include CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, and lung resection
* Skills required include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral Valve Replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), robotic hearts and lungs, and additional cardiovascular and vascular procedures
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs
