Job Details:
* Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekend requirement
* On-call requirement of 5 weekday nights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Daily case load of 7 to 15 cases
* 2-day orientation
* Floating required as needed between two campuses located 12 miles apart
* Hospital scrub colors provided
* 1 year of experience required with IR, Hybrid OR, Scrub, and Special Procedures experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS; ARRT(VI) preferred
* Required license: NJDEP Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License
* Required skills include room circulation, scrub procedures, sterile field maintenance, sterile technique, equipment set up, accurate monitoring, and Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
* Vascular access skills required including venous access, accessing and managing ports, central venous access, and PICC lines
* Abdominal and visceral procedure skills required including aortography, angioplasty, chemoembolization, embolization, endograft and stent placement, IVC filter placement and removal, liver biopsy, and chest tube placement
* Genitourinary procedure skills required including angiography, catheter and drain exchange, gastrostomy, biliary drainage, nephrostomy, renal and ureteral stent placement, and uterine artery embolization
* Vascular procedure skills required including carotid stenting, central venous access and port placement, dialysis graft creation and revision, endovascular interventions, thrombolysis and thrombectomy, TIPS, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Equipment, inventory, and supply management skills required
* PACS experience required
* Parking provided at each facility
* Missed shifts may be required to be made up during the same week or at the end of the assignment
