Open Position: RN - OR ICU/SICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2414.20

Opportunity:

RN - SICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Located on the 2nd floor of Building 7
* 26-bed Surgical ICU unit
* Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
* Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
* Work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
* EMR system: Meditech
* Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
* Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH stroke scale
* TNCC certification preferred
* Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
* Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive attitude

This medical center is a large acute care facility featuring a dedicated Surgical ICU equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO. The unit supports a diverse patient population including trauma, post-surgical, and high-acuity cardiac patients, staffed by an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional critical care.
