Opportunity:
Lead CT Tech
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 12-week contract
* Call required on a rotational basis
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead CT Tech required
* Strong lead/management experience required
* 2 years of overall experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, FL State License
* Must be proficient with GE 64 sl/256 sl equipment
* Must be proficient with PACS and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
* Must be skilled in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Must be experienced in a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, colonography, and PET CT
* Must be comfortable performing biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
* Must be proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
* Must be experienced in radiation safety and radiation therapy planning
* Must be comfortable working with patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience in Emergency Department and ICU settings required
* Must be knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Facility:
This facility is a large hospital with 350 beds and a daily census of 150 patients, operating 4 CT rooms with interdisciplinary radiology support. The facility serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups and provides comprehensive imaging services including advanced CT procedures. The south campus location is a well-equipped environment utilizing modern GE imaging technology to support a high volume of complex diagnostic and interventional radiology cases.
