Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required - 6 weekends per contract (Saturday and Sunday for day shifts)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
* Daily census of 14 patients with 14 rooms and 15 beds
* LDRP unit serving neonatal and adult patient populations
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
* Required skills include but are not limited to: Labor & Delivery, antepartum care, postpartum care, couplet care, cesarean section support (circulate and recover), external and internal fetal monitoring, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, epidural anesthesia support, newborn assessment, hemorrhage and shock management, IV insertion and maintenance, and triage of obstetrical patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* Self-scheduling
* Up to one pre-approved time off request permitted
* 24-hour orientation
