Opportunity:
Trauma ICU - Level I Trauma Facility
Job Details:
* Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
* 14-room unit with 16 beds serving adult patients
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Level I and Level II Trauma experience preferred
* Required skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills include ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and Level I Trauma experience
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* State or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
* All requested time off must be listed at time of submittal

This is a Level I Trauma facility offering a specialized Trauma ICU with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services. The unit provides advanced critical care for adult patients in a 16-bed environment, supported by respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and a full range of allied health professionals. The facility maintains high standards for patient care with consistent staffing ratios and robust support systems.
