Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; guaranteed hours are subject to this policy
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* Required skills include: sterilization, decontamination, high-level disinfection, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, immediate-use steam sterilization, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including cardiac, orthopedics, robotics, neurology, urology, OB/GYN, ENT, laparoscopic, transplant, and ophthalmology preferred
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed
