Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* Temp to perm opportunity
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities and potentially CSC, ART, or West Campus
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; guaranteed hours subject to this policy
* No more than 2 callouts permitted without a doctor's note; 3rd callout may result in removal
* No more than 3 tardies permitted
* If holidays are not requested in time off and the facility is open, traveler is expected to work
* Traveler will be assigned to Inclement Weather Team A or B with expectations provided by management
* Parking cost: nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Skills include: Acute Hospital OR, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Aseptic Technique, Biological Indicators, Bronchoscopes, Cardiac, Case Cart, Chemical Indicators, High-Level Disinfection, Immediate-Use Steam Sterilization, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Robotics, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Sets/Trays Assembly, Steam Sterilization Testing/Monitoring, Sterilization Wrapping Procedures, Transplant, Urology, and Use of Washers/Sterilizers

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. It provides comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties and serves patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
