Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Multi Trauma Unit (MTU) with 20 beds and a staff of 40
* Patient ratio of 1:4 with a charge nurse free of patients
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 3 techs; night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 2 techs
* Work with equipment including ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, specialty beds, suction, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech/CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Perform and manage procedures including chest tube placement, bedside bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and suctioning
* Must be comfortable managing highly acute trauma patients
* Team player with ability to thrive in a highly acute patient care environment preferred
