CONTRACT - CST - LABOR AND DELIVERY (707) - 13 WEEKS - 7:00P-7:00A

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
* 4 weekend shifts per month - Friday and Saturday for PM shift
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios: 1:2 PICU; 1:3 IMC (1:4 IMC with PCT); 1:5 Peds (1:6 Peds with PCT)
* Work on a combined Pediatric and Pediatric ICU unit with 19 beds (10 PICU and 9 Peds)
* Perform procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, chest tube placements, and conscious sedation
* Work with equipment including Hillrom Beds, GC monitors, ICU Medial Plum 360 pumps, and Med Fusion syringe pumps
* Use Meditech EMR system
* CST license required
* BLS certification required
* Pediatric experience required
* Pediatric ICU experience required
* Scrub color: Galaxy blue
* Must be adaptable and a team player with ability to accept constructive criticism

Facility:

This medical center houses a unique and growing combined Pediatric and Pediatric ICU unit spanning 19 beds, supported by a dedicated team of 27 staff members. The unit is capable of managing a wide spectrum of patient needs, from surgical cases such as appendicitis to critically ill patients requiring vasopressive drips and mechanical ventilation for respiratory support. The facility offers permanent positions on the unit and is equipped with modern technology to support comprehensive pediatric care.
