Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule
* No weekend requirement
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* California OT state license required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Provide evaluation and treatment for general acute care patients with a variety of diagnoses including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, hip fractures, dementia, and deficits in ADLs
* Primary evaluation and treatment focus on ADL and upper extremity assessments with emphasis on functional outcomes
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Skills required: Acute Care, Adaptive Equipment
* Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
* Block schedule available at manager's discretion
* Free parking available
* Scrub color: Navy blue
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This is an acute care hospital with 212 total staffed beds, offering a full range of inpatient medical services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The occupational therapy department focuses on functional outcomes for a diverse patient population across multiple diagnoses and surgical specialties.
