Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule with 4 shifts per schedule
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 32-bed Emergency Department
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (must have by start date), ENPC (must have by start date), NIHSS
* Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
* Must be a great team player and able to anticipate needs for patients and the department
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweater required; pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center housing a busy Emergency Department with 32 beds and a robust multidisciplinary team including charge nurse coordinators, registered nurses, medics, and patient care technicians. The department is well-staffed across all shifts and utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system. The facility offers permanent positions on the unit and provides a dynamic, fast-paced environment for experienced emergency nurses.
