Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2166.88

Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* Located in Recovery Room unit with 30 beds
* Patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients, or 1 RN to 1 patient depending on acuity
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 12 nurses
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Flexibility with hours preferred
* Perform and assist with typical PACU procedures including post-craniotomy and orthopedic recovery
* Strong attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure preferred
* Patient experience is a top priority

This is a large acute care medical center offering a wide range of surgical and specialty services. The facility features a 30-bed recovery room unit supported by experienced nursing staff across day and night shifts. The organization utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care across multiple service lines including orthopedics and neurosurgery.
