Opportunity:

ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER

Job Details:

* Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, Monday through Friday with block scheduling
* On-call rotation required 1-2 days per week and every 5th weekend with a 30-minute response time
* Perform vascular studies including aorta, abdominal, bypass, fistulas, mapping, stent, ABI, upper and lower venous, and upper and lower arterial imaging
* Average of 8-9 studies performed per day
* Work within a department of 7 scanners and 7 rooms
* Perform portable studies as needed
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Utilize Cerner EMR, Sectra PACS, Vasculab, and Philips Epiq Elite 1022 equipment
* Reading surgeon available in-house
* No IV starts required
* Both outpatient and inpatient care settings
* Protocol adaptability and team-oriented mindset required
* Required certification: BLS
* Specialty certifications preferred but not required: RVT, RDMS
* No specific scrub color or dress code required; standard grey hospital scrubs available
* Department-specific orientation provided

Facility:

This Level 2 Trauma acute care facility operates a dedicated vascular sonography department equipped with 7 scanners and 7 rooms. The department utilizes advanced imaging technology and modern electronic medical record systems to deliver high-quality diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. The facility maintains a collaborative environment with in-house reading surgeons to support comprehensive patient care.
