RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Self-scheduling with manager discretion for block schedule accommodation
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* Every other weekend required with 4 shifts per schedule
* No on-call required
* May be required to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, BLS
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system experience required; Epic charting system
* Must be proficient in Labor & Delivery, antepartum care, triage of obstetrical patients, and postpartum couplet care
* Must be able to circulate and recover C-sections, assist with high-risk deliveries, and perform newborn role at delivery
* Skills required include use of External Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, sterile vaginal exams, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Scrub color: Any color
* Free parking available
* Unit has 12 rooms and 15 beds
* Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Facility has the ability to call off once per two-week pay period

This acute care hospital features a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 12 rooms and 15 beds, supporting a facility birth volume of 100?200 per month. The unit provides comprehensive perinatal care and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more. The facility maintains a collaborative and well-resourced environment designed to support high-quality maternal and newborn care.
