CT Tech

Job Details:

* Friday through Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 12-hour night shifts with 8, 10, and 12-hour shift options available depending on posting
* 2 to 3 call shifts per month with call hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other holiday rotation required
* Fixed weekend schedule with some positions requiring every weekend
* Night shift travelers will have 4 days off per week
* Scrub color: Any color with professional appearance, no logos or designs
* Free parking available
* Schedule follows a repeating cycle with minor alterations
* Requesting time off must go through manager
* Manager cannot accommodate shift length changes unless the preferred shift is already posted
* Work with Level III Trauma Center patient population including general, diagnostic, interventional, ER, and critical cases
* Night shift caseload is approximately 90% ER and ICU patients
* Over 100 patients seen in a 24-hour period
* Cardiac CT experience preferred
* Must have acute care experience in a large Level 3+ facility; critical access experience alone is not sufficient
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT CT R
* Washington state license required
* EMR system: EPIC
* Equipment includes Siemens Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64 (interventional CT), and Definition Edge 128 in ER; prior experience with specific equipment not required
* IV pumps: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis; Injector: MedRad; PACS: Change Healthcare
* Up to 5 CT Techs during business hours; after 5:00 PM, 3 CT Techs on shift
* CT transporter available except between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM
* Typically no floating to other departments
* Orientation includes NEO plus 1 week in department with potential extension if needed

Facility:

This facility is a 375-bed Level III Trauma Center equipped with 3 CT suites and a robust support team including a Lead CT Tech, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalist, and Radiologist coverage. An Interventional Radiology MD and PA are available to assist with CT cases, with a Radiologist on-site during the day and available off-site at night. The facility operates a fast-paced environment serving a high volume of patients across general, diagnostic, interventional, emergency, and critical care case types.
