Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Tech
Job Details:
* Work in a Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
* 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
* Varied 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:00 AM
* Weekend coverage supported by on-call rotation shared between 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call required after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends with Primary and Backup call Tech support
* Contract options of 13 or 26 weeks available
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Neuro interventional experience required, including Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting
* Line access experience required, including port placements, PICC placement, and Dialysis Catheter Placement
* Experience with peripheral and body angiography required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, and BLS
* South Carolina Radiography State License required
* EPIC charting system experience preferred but not required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Skills required include Interventional Radiology, PACS, NICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, and ER
* Treat patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 15 to 20 cases within a 3-room department
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more
* May be required to float to other units where competencies have been demonstrated and documented

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center equipped with a dedicated Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department. The department operates with state-of-the-art Siemens IR Rooms and provides specialized care for a wide range of complex diagnoses across all ages, ethnicities, and genders. The facility is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Radiology.
