Opportunity:
Administrator - Long Term Care (Interim)
Job Details:
* Serve as interim Administrator for a post-acute care setting during a leadership transition
* Provide overall leadership and management of the facility including operational and financial stability
* Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance throughout the facility
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and members of the medical community
* Oversee infection prevention and control activities including providing necessary equipment and supplies
* Maintain a culture of safety with scheduled inspections and corrections as necessary
* Ensure resident rights are protected and HIPAA compliance is maintained
* Lead and manage a Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program including monthly committee meetings
* Sponsor performance improvement projects and review team findings and recommendations
* Directly supervise assigned employees including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance appraisals
* Travel to the location will be required
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Bachelor's degree required; preference for Health Care Administration degree
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a long-term care administrator required
* Current Nursing Home Administrator's license issued by the state of practice required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required
* Strong financial understanding and general knowledge of reimbursement required
* Required certification: BLS Certification
