Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
* Weekend requirement of up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Must be available to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (Radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level I trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Work across all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Block scheduling available pending manager approval based on unit needs
* All RTO must be submitted at time of application; approval based on facility needs

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties and is recognized as a busy, nurse-driven department offering cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a dynamic, academic environment committed to high-quality patient care.
