Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 5x8 variable shift schedule
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
* Weekend rotation required
* No on-call required
* Block scheduling available upon request
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Preferred certifications: CBSPD, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA, or NBSTSA
* Required skills: Orthopedics, Neurology, and Robotics
* Additional skills include: acute hospital OR, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart management, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/tray assembly, equipment documentation, scope/probe reprocessing, loaner trays, trauma, and instructions for use
* Charting system: Epic (any charting system experience preferred)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking on-site
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, to be submitted during compliance process prior to start
