Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Patient ratios of 1:4 during days and 1:5 during nights
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Float between 2 MS/Tele units and must be open to floating where most needed
* May float to Cardiac/Observation Unit, Stroke Unit, Ortho/Trauma and Total Joint Unit, Orthopedic Spine Unit, and Palliative/Peritoneal Dialysis/Thyroid Ablation Unit
* All RNs required to float to Cardiac Monitoring Room
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Looking for well-rounded travelers with strong MS/Tele experience; ICU/PCU experience a plus
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals accepted
* Blocked scheduling considered depending on unit needs with unit manager approval
* RTO requires unit manager approval
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Standard MS/Tele equipment utilized including Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
* Special equipment includes Bladder Scanner, IV Ultrasound Placement Equipment, Interpreter Cart/Phones with onsite Navajo Interpreters, EKG Machine, Mechanical Lift System, and Remote Telemetry Monitoring
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Must adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
* Must be available to work 2 recognized facility holidays

This short-term acute care facility is a Teaching Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center with 87 total staffed beds.
