Job Details:
* Work 4 ten-hour days per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) plus call responsibilities, with rotating day off
* Will consider 5 eight-hour days (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
* Weeknight call rotation approximately once every 3 weekdays
* Weekend call rotation once every 3 weekends (Friday through Monday)
* May be asked to participate in Holiday call
* 30-minute call response time required
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs provided by facility; personal scrub caps permitted
* 2 years of cath lab experience required with IABP experience mandatory
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
* Wisconsin or compact state RN license required
* BSN not required
* Work across 7 total rooms (4 Cath Lab/EP and 3 IR suites) with 20+ cases per day across all rooms
* Common procedures include port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements, and neuro cases including coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations
* Job duties include verifying orders and consent, head-to-toe assessments, patient education, room setup, circulating cases, administering moderate sedation, assisting anesthesia providers, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation
* STEMI call team consists of 1 RN and 3 Techs
* EMR systems used: Merge and Cerner
* Department orientation typically consists of 2-3 full days of training and shadowing with buddy call; no call during first week, buddy call during second week, then independent

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive interventional radiology and cardiovascular care department. The facility operates 7 specialized rooms including Cath Lab, EP, and IR suites, supporting a high-volume caseload of 20+ procedures daily. The department is supported by dedicated team leads managing scheduling and staffing, along with anesthesia providers for complex neurological cases, ensuring a collaborative and well-structured clinical environment.
