Opportunity:

RN - LTAC/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Provide shift-based patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
* Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
* Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
* Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
* Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
* Rotating schedule: shifts alternate between Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday one week, followed by Wednesday and Thursday the next week
* Required to take on-call one weekend per month
* Minimum 2 years of recent Skilled RN experience required
* Vent/trach experience required; knowledge of central lines required; wound care experience preferred
* ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association)
* North Carolina or multi-state compact RN license required
