Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotator shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, or straight evenings
* Weekend call scheduled in 8-hour blocks: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
* Up to 4 weeknight calls and up to 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
* Call required on weeknights and weekends
* No float required
* 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
* 22 operating rooms
* Adult and geriatric patient population
* Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
* General OR and Trauma experience required
* EPIC charting system experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and CAC
* Michigan license must be in-hand at time of submission (not compact)
* 2 supervisory/manager references required (charge RN references not accepted)
* Specialties include orthopedics, oncology, trauma, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary
* Special equipment includes DaVinci robotic system, laparoscopic equipment, Stryker, Storz integration, O-arm, C-arm, Hana Table, Mako Surgical System, and instrument scanning via Censitrac
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Pre-approved time off: one request allowed
* Traveler pairs are not accepted

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center equipped with state-of-the-art surgical technology and a comprehensive range of specialty services. The operating department consists of 22 rooms supporting a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, interpretation services, and unit secretaries to ensure high-quality patient care.
