Job Details:

* Day shift position with the option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Weekend requirement of 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 15-room, 15-bed unit
* Scrubs provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; 3 years preferred
* First-time travelers welcome
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications accepted)
* AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
* Required skills include: antepartum care, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, circulating for C-sections, recovering C-section patients, insulin drips, isolation precautions/PPE, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of external fetal heart monitoring (EFM)
* Patients served include neonates and adults
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

Facility:

This facility features a well-equipped Labor & Delivery unit with 15 beds and rooms, delivering between 100 to 200 births per month. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services, ensuring a collaborative and high-quality care environment for both mothers and newborns.
