Job Details:

* 4x10 variable shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* 13-week assignment
* On-call requirements of minimum 7 days per month including 1 weekend per month
* 1+ years of CVOR RN experience required
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree required
* Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Care for adult patient population in a 2-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
* Common diagnoses include CAD, AS, and MR
* Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell technology required
* Floating to other units required when census is low

This healthcare facility operates a cardiovascular operating room unit providing specialized surgical care for adult patients. The unit maintains a 2-bed capacity with dedicated 1:1 nursing ratios to ensure the highest level of patient care. The facility utilizes modern technology including EPIC and Omnicell systems to support clinical staff in delivering comprehensive cardiovascular surgical services.
