RD - Dietitian

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 5x8 shift schedule working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 1 year of experience required
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* BLS certification required
* CDR - RD/RDN license required
* Missouri Licensed Dietician State License required (pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start date)
* Primary focus is inpatient care, predominantly adult patients with potential geriatric and pediatric patients
* Outpatient consultations also required across all age ranges, typically adult
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required skills include nutrition assessments and reassessments, dysphagia, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), fluid and electrolyte requirements, protein calorie malnutrition, and nutrient deficiencies
* Additional skill areas include aspiration safety, failure to thrive, insulin, steroids, immunosuppressants, diuretics, laxatives, and radiation
* Pre-approved time off must be approved before start and noted in assignment confirmation; keep time off requests to a minimum
* Expect to work some holidays during assignment
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals within 60-mile radius are not accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 114-bed inpatient facility with a daily census of approximately 55 patients. The facility offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary support network including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The organization provides a collaborative care environment focused on delivering high-quality patient outcomes across a broad range of age groups and clinical needs.
