Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist for Hollings Cancer Center

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* May be asked to cross cover different treatment machines
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2+ years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT SCRQSA, BLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Experience with Aria and Varian TrueBeam equipment preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Green family
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Approximately 90 patient visits per day
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Skills include external beam therapy, IMRT, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT simulation, stereotactic radiosurgery, respiratory gating, radiation safety, total body irradiation, and tumor localization among others

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The cancer center operates at a high volume, seeing approximately 90 patients per day, and provides a wide range of radiation therapy services across multiple treatment machines. The organization is committed to delivering advanced oncology care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a highly specialized and collaborative clinical environment.
