Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule
* 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period
* Traveler may be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2-week period
* On-call required with weekend on-call coverage
* Block scheduling available upon request
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Any or business casual
* Free parking available
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Required surgical skills include: lobe resection, lung resection, thoracotomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, thyroidectomy, arthroscopy, closed/open reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, ortho/spine, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, cystoscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, transurethral resection of the prostate, cell saver, administration of blood and blood products, laser safety, radiation safety, wound management, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol procedures

Facility:

This acute care medical center also encompasses long-term care and outpatient services, operating as a Level IV Trauma and Critical Access Hospital. The facility maintains 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds, providing a broad range of surgical and medical services to its community. Housing is provided to traveling clinicians during their assignment in typically 1-bedroom apartment units.
